Susie Levin Rice, President of RMC Property Group “RMC” oversees all corporate and real estate operations. She has been active in the Florida commercial real estate business for 34 years.

Born and raised in New York, Susie began her career as a Commercial Bank examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She had a passion for real estate and in 1989, she joined her family’s commercial real estate business in Florida. Susie spent her first few years in the field as a Leasing Agent. During this time, she saw the need and opportunity and to develop the RMC infrastructure for it to become the premier full-service retail real estate company in Florida. She spent the next several years building a team and implementing RMC’s future business strategy. In 1996, Susie’s efforts were recognized when RMC was ranked #1 among Florida’s shopping center leasing and management companies in the Tampa Bay Business Journal. In 1998, Susie became president of RMC. In 2005, Susie was recognized as Young Business Woman of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. As an industry expert, Susie has spoken and presented to organizations such as CREW, REIC and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Susie holds a Bachelor of Business degree from George Washington University with a major in Finance. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Susie is a community activist, patron of the arts and organizer of cultural projects.
Currently, Susie is a member of the Executive Advisory Council for the University of South Florida’s Muma College of Business and serves on the Advisory Board at the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Tampa. She is the Co-president and Co-founder of the Cuban Arts Group, a 501c3 dedicated to enriching and strengthening US and Cuban cross-cultural connections through art exhibitions and educational programs.

Previously, Susie has served on man boards and to include, Shoe Giver of Tampa, The Board of Trustees of the Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa Jewish Family Services Resource Committee, the Corporation to Develop Communities, the David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts, the Florida Institute for Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy, the Hillsborough County Board of Advisors, the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation and, she was the co-chair of the Lion of Judah. Susie has raised money for several organizations to include the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and co-chaired Tampa Museum of Art Pavillion XXXI. Susie annually volunteers with Meals on Wheels, Feeding America, and Metropolitan Ministries.

In 2010, Susie received the Woman of Distinction Award from the Tampa Jewish Federation, and in 2019, Susie and her husband Mitchell received the Tampa Jewish Federation’s Real Estate Society Leadership Award.

Susie and Mitchell Rice live in Tampa, where they raised their three children.
